Bible Reading Plan: 2021
Slider
Our Purpose

This past year, we read through Genesis to Revelation and saw the Bible as one story, interwoven with many stories, but ultimately about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This year, we want to read the Bible at a slower pace, encouraging you to meditate upon Scripture, to journal your responses to God's word, and to write down your prayers.

Our Plan

We will read the Bible together starting on January 1st. The first 40 days of 2021, we will follow a digital devotional the "Old Testament Bible Study Summary with Paul David Tripp." We encourage you to watch the short 5 minute devotional and read through the Scripture for that day and journal your insights and prayers. After the first 40 days, we will go through various books of the Bible for the rest of the year. As a gift, the church will provide you with an ESV Scripture Journal for the first book we will read, the book of Acts. Please check your email next week with information on how to sign up for your free Scripture Journal.

If you prefer to continue reading the Bible through in 1 year, feel free to do so.

FAQ
  1. “What happens if I fall behind?”
Like any resolution, don’t dwell on what you missed or how you fell behind. The key is to read and to keep at it.
  2. “What do I do if I have trouble setting up the app or my program or if I have any questions about the plan?” Please contact Pastor Jee at jeehoon.song@odpcec.org.
