The Gospel of Luke was written as an accurate and thorough account of the life of Christ. Luke shows the love of God shining through the words and actions of Jesus into the lives of all kinds of people. It is the only Gospel that has a sequel, the book of Acts, which details the story of the early church. Thus, Luke is written with the sense that God's great love is part of a divine purpose that continues to unfold. Throughout this sermon series we take a fresh look at every chapter of the Gospel of Luke. |
